Cattle of Amsterdam Island

In this year of biodiversity, the administration of French Southern and Antarctic Lands began to make the eradication of ruminant herds of Kerguelen and Amsterdam.

The sheep of the Kerguelen Islands have already been slaughtered, as most cattle of Amsterdam Island. Bizet sheep Kerguelen should shortly meet the same fate. Cattle

Cattle were bred in Germany previous posting in three directions of use: as working animals and as meat and dairy producers and mostly in combination with each other as two, or three-purpose breed. The Miniature Galloway

Miniature GallowayThe Miniature Galloway is the latest addition to the world of miniature cattle. They are known as environmentally friendly cattle. Miniature Galloways are an economical alternative to the larger breeds as they enable two for one grazing capacity and suit small acreage’s as more head per acre can be run than normal sized cattle.
